Canwest Protective Coatings Ltd. has been involved in the spraying and application of protective coatings for the past number of years and was created to expand our services into the spray-in containment, protective coatings, roofing/decking industries. What we primarily do is spray-in primary and secondary containment for gas stations, bulk plants, and in the oil field sectors. We have mobile coating units that are self contained, that we use all over Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

       Our polyurea elastomeric coatings are resistant to most solvents, acids, auto/diesel fuels, etc., making our product ideal for industrial and commercial applications where corrosion is prevalent. Thus, as a result of using our products, equipment, structures and vehicle's life expectancy is greatly extended. It has a high "Shore D" hardness rating therefore it has excellent abrasion and impact resistance. Since the material is sprayed, there is a complete seal making the coating air/liquid tight.        Our products are a two component spray-in-place, 100% solids (no air pollution), polyurea elastomer system. Our product is a fast cure, multi-purpose series of coatings designed for a wide range of retail, commercial, and industrial uses. They exhibit excellent adhesion to most properly prepared surfaces. With it's fast cure time it can be sprayed vertically and even overhead without running or dripping. There are no solvents associated with our products, which means there are no air pollutants or harmful environmental contaminates. Because of the fast cure time (3 to 5 seconds) and the absence of solvents, a custom thickness is as easy as just spraying more material.
